Once you complete the pre-approval process with your chosen lender, you are ready to start your home search! When you are ready to submit an offer on a home, providing your pre-approval letter to the seller will strengthen your offer. If your offer is accepted and you decide to change lenders later on, you will need to get written approval by the seller to make the change.
